The Rocanville Transfer Station is open for use to Rocanville RM and Town of Rocanville residents only. Hours of operation are as follows:
Mondays: 12 Noon - 6 p.m.
Wednesdays: 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Fridays: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturdays: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Mondays: 11 am. - 5 p.m.
Wednesdays: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Fridays 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturdays: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Members – residents/owners of property located in municipalities that have paid to become stakeholders in the Red Coat Waste Resource Authority.
Red Coat Waste Resource Authority – a community-driven organization owned and operated by certain south-east Saskatchewan municipalities (both urban and rural) to manage residential garbage and recycling programs.
Transfer Station Fees (Effective January 1, 2017)
• Bagged Garbage $2.00 per bag
• Pickup Box of Garbage $25.00
• 1 Ton Box of Garbage $50.00
• 3 Ton Box of Garbage $150.00
• 1/2 Ton Full of Shingles $75.00
• 1 Ton Full of Shingles $150.00
• 3 Ton Full of Shingles $450.00
• Steel Appliances Put in Steel Pile $20.00 each
• Clean Wood or Trees, Put in Burning Pile No Charge
• Mattress and Furniture etc. $20.00 each
• Unpainted Wooden Pallets $1.00 each- Put on Wood Pile to Burn
• Tires and Batteries NOT ACCEPTABLE- Return to Dealer
• Please note that when a mattress and box-spring come to the site they are charged as two items.

Everything else will be held at the New Rocanville Hall
Cabaret to follow - 9:00PM to 2:00AM
You are cordially invited to Rocanville & District Museum's 50th Anniversary Celebration!
The day will be jam packed and it will start off with a pancake breakfast at 8am. After breakfast the demonstrations will start. Market begins at 10am, lunch at 11:30, Threshing at 1pm, musical entertainment from 1:30-4:30, Street Mobile Family Resource Center from 3pm-5pm, cake cutting at 5pm, supper at 5pm . There will also be hayrack rides and a 50/50 draw.
No gate admission. Donations are greatly appreciated.
Terry Fox Fun Run or Walk will be taking place at the Rocanville Cross Country Ski Trails on Sunday, September 17th. The event will begin at 1pm and Joan and Dennis Hack will be hosting a wiener roast after you complete your run or walk. If you would like to pre-register for this event please pick up a registration form from the Rec Office or the Town Office. You can also register the day of the event.
If you would like to collect pledges or make a donation you can pick up pledge forms from the Rec Office. Collecting pledges or making a donation is optional. We welcome everyone to participate in this non-competitive, all-inclusive, family-oriented event!
Rocanville Cross Country Ski Trails are located 2miles south of Rocanville, 1mile west of #8 (1/2 mile south of Webster cemetery). These trails have been kept groomed and anyone is welcome to explore them whenever they wish.
