Rocanville is an agricultural and mining based community located in Southeast Saskatchewan, 21 kms west of the Manitoba border and only 15 kms south of the Scenic Qu'Appelle Valley

Rocanville Recreation Walking Club

December 5, 6, 7, 1, 2017
The Rocanville Recreation Walking Club is in full swing. It is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the winter months. It provides a safe indoor walking environment for people of all ages to enjoy. Strollers and walkers with clean wheels are welcome and encouraged so bring your little ones with you! Grab a friend, family member or neighbour and come on down to the hall to enjoy some safe physical activity.

The Walking Club is located at the PotashCorp Rocanville Community Hall and runs from 9:15 to 10:45 AM on Tuesdays, 9:15 to 10:45 AM on Wednesdays, and 1:15-2:45 PM on

Admission to the walking club will be by donation and each month the donations will go to a
different community group. The monthly recipient group will be drawn at random on or near the first Tuesday of each month.

Please note, the walking club will be cancelled when the Hall has a booking, the Rec.
Director is on holidays, must be out of the office or is sick.

Only indoor shoes will be permitted.
Everyone is welcome.

We would like the thank everyone who has already participated in the walking club and
encourage those who have not checked it out yet to come join us.

Rocanville Recreation will be hosting "Homemade Gift by Kids" on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Parents can drop off their kids at the Hall and enjoy a night of kid free Late-Night Shopping while your littles create some fantastic gifts that they will be proud to present to their loved ones on Christmas morning!

We will be announcing registration details on the Rocanville Recreation Facebook page in mid-November.

Rocanville Community Center Potluck

The Rocanville Community Centre will be not be hosting a Potluck in December but instead will be hosting a catered supper on December 11th at 6:00 PM. Cost is $20.00 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Rocanville Recreation Colouring Contest Deadline

The deadline to submit your coloured pages to the Rec Office for the colouring contest is Thursday, December 21st, 2017.

Enter to win one free day at the Rocanville Recreation's February "Winter" Program (Feb. 20th-23rd).
Ages 5-12.
Either drop off your coloured page at the Rec. Office or mail it to us at Box 576 Rocanville, Sk.

Winner will be announced on December 21st.

Last Day of School

The last day of school at Rocanville School is Friday, December 22nd.

The first day back in the new year will be Monday, January 8th.

Public Skating and Shinny at the Rink

The Rocanville Skating Rink will be offering public skating and shinny on the following dates:

December 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th from 1-5pm.

They will be putting in the dividers so both groups can exist at the same time.

Music and Arts Night
